Chris drives with Trapster on WBZ-TV

I got my 2 minutes of fame on the local CBS News affliate WBZ-TV in Boston. I drove around with reporter David Wade talking about a cellphone application called Trapster that helps you find police speed traps. Funny!

If you have a Credit Union, try to name it something that looks like
the word "Mafia" when you're driving by fast with a cellphone camera.
You'll get my attention.

Took this one with my cell phone on the way to lunch. You have to cross the tracks to get to the good places.

The other day Ross and I went to Daddy's music on Mass Ave in Boston.
Ross picked up the magic box which will make him famous someday.

Crepe and Moroccan tea

This was at Mr. Crepe in Davis Square in Somerville, MA.

If you're getting the impression I'm obsessed with tea and pancakes, you are right.

Nabil, you totally missed out on this one. Next time, buddy.

Espresso Royale Caffe

This is the Espresso Royale on Gainsborough St. near Northeastern University in Boston. I go there on a semiregular basis because it's better than Starb-cks or Dunk-n Don-ts. The only thing that would make this place better is a couch or two.

This coffee, which is actually tea, is from Marylou's. Please ignore the "other" place in the background. I did.

Remember what Joanne always says

And have a Happy New Year

Guitar Center

They really had everything out for Christmas. You could hardly walk without knocking a guitar over!

Romanesco Broccoli

Happy Thanksgiving!

Romanesco Broccoli is clearly the most beautiful vegetable on earth. But I have to admit its fractal-like quality scares me a little. If I eat this stuff, will I become recursive too?

Another helping of self-similarity please!

Spider Web

Made this with the the plastic tie rope that you can get at Home Depot for free.

Happy Halloween!

A jack-o-lantern only a dentist could love.

I guess I was obsessed with teeth this year.

Kohlrabi

Here's a nice kohlrabi from my garden. Yummy!

Cosmo's Moon

Moon over Wessagussett Beach

It's really impossible to convey how amazing the moon was the night before the lunar eclipse, especially when all you have is a bad cellphone camera shot of it.

Work

Here's the building I work in at Northeastern University (Richards Hall).

Cookies!!!

Simple sugar cookies become way better if you just add some colorful swirls to them!

After these I can never go back to plain again.

My Commute

I drive to work listening to Rufus Wainwright. My cellphone camera is on the dashboard shooting low-quality video.

Broadway

I saw this in New York. It rocked. It won the Tony for best musical a couple of days ago.

Here are some clips. Enjoy!

• Don't Do Sadness
• Touch Me
• Bitch of Living
• Word of Your Body

If you like these and you want a copy of the album, email me.

Slice o' Watermelon

I documented the cool swirls on the inside of this watermelon before eating it this past weekend.

Why don't watermelons have seeds anymore?

Map a UPS Package

My UPS tracking app doesn't work any more.

UPS is now preventing people from easily scraping their package tracking data. You'll need to go to UPS directly to track a package. This guy still has a mapper application that works for now:

Cadill TV

Cadill TV is a collection of video clips from Strawberry Productions (my silly video production company). Most of them will be from my phone or my friends' phones, documenting things we see or do during the day.

Lovely Office Tomato

This quarter-sized tomato is growing on last summer's plant in my office. It must be very confused.

M&M's Signs

I was at the M&M store in Manhattan. They had maroon m&m's.

Some website just sent me this picture. Thanks, Internet.
